We are excited to announce a new exhibit of expansive, vibrant paintings by painter Mary Stokes Crocker. The show, Water, Light & Color, brings together a collection of Mary's work. Through her direct connection, sans paintbrush, she looks to capture nature's dynamic of movement & light through her interplay of color on the canvas creating a dance that takes our breath away.

Opening reception to be held 6:00-9:00 PM on Friday, November 5. Come meet the artist. Show will be on display for the month of November.

The Barn Swallow is part of a major clay conference, NCECA: (National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts)! Join us on Second Saturday, March 14, 2-5pm for a preview of our exhibition and reception with Janice & Mary Ann.

The Barn Swallow Artisan Gallery is a testimony of two potters making a living from clay. The gallery is within an 1800’s barn that Janice Arone and Mary Ann Burk turned into their gallery 20 years ago. 

The NCECA conference will be in downtown Richmond Virginia, March 25-28.  Our exhibition will be held at the Barn Swallow Gallery as part of a tour of regional galleries. During the conference will be open Wednesday in addition to our normal hours.
