Listening to Artifacts

Art Opening & Reception

Friday, June 7, 2024
5:30 to 7:30 PM

Please join us for "Listening to Artifacts," featuring the sculpture of local artist Kim Boggs. The show will open with a reception on Friday, June 7, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM.

"Listening to Artifacts" offers viewers a glimpse into the enigmatic world of Boggs' sculptural assemblages, each one whispering a hidden story through its form and color.

Drawing inspiration from the found artifacts of the past, Boggs' assemblages invite viewers to uncover the rich narratives of bygone eras woven into her creations.  Reflecting on her artistic process, Boggs remarks, "Artifacts speak to me, and I do my best to listen." The exhibit will be on display throughout the month of June.
