25th Annual Artisans Studio Tour & Second Saturday Crozet

The 25th Annual Artisans Studio Tour and Second Saturday Crozet converge at The Barn Swallow Gallery! Join potters Janice Arone and Mary Ann Burk as they present their newest works in clay. Both delve into one of a kind forms that travel the distance between sculptural forms, and functional pots. Food sponsors also share their best at our gallery! Saturday and Sunday, November 9-10, 10 AM until 5 PM.

November also kicks off the beginning of the Barn Swallows 20th year! The Barn Swallow first opened its door in November 2000.

The Barn Swallow is pleased to announce Clover Top Creamery is our October Artisan of the Month.  Come for Second Saturday Crozet, October 12, 2-4 pm, to learn how a love of goats, food and science led to the creation of a local artisan cheese company making delectable chevre. 

In addition to learning about the company, and their cheese, there will be a cheese tasting, cheese for sale, and recipes to take with you. We will also be adding their scrumptious cheese to our food offerings at the Barn Swallow.

Second Saturday Crozet is in full swing! Jeweler Edie Ashman of Edith Meriwether Designs will be at The Barn Swallow with her line of crocheted jewelry. She will talk about her background of how she began, and how she makes a living at her craft.

A short bracelet-making workshop will also be part of the day’s festivities .
