Lara Call Gastinger is an artist and botanical illustrator from Charlottesville, Virginia. She was the chief illustrator for the Flora of Virginia, a botanical reference manual for Virginia. Lara has received two gold medals at the Royal Horticultural Society garden shows in London and her work has been accepted into the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation and in numerous ASBA exhibits. She is well known on Instagram for teaching about how to keep a “perpetual journal.”
